I dont think my stiches ever dissolved help.?

Ok, i had my daughter 8 months ago and we had a rough time. my doc. gave me an episomity and on top of that my daughters heart beat dropped and so the doc. had to vacuum her out thus resulting in me having 3rd degree lacerations which my doc stitched up. well i noticed a pain down there about 2 months ago and i felt and there was a bump i thought it might be something gross like an ingrown hair or something. well ive left it alone and the bump went away but the pain is still there and now its like black and purple. i started to think about it and the only thing that i can think of is that my stitches didn't fully dissolve..does anyone else know what it could be or what i should do? please no sarcastic remarks and dont poke fun.
