Sick of people bagging The Australian Army?

The reason Australia has low casualty rates isn't due to cowardice, It's due to them not taking stupid risks like other countries who can afford to waste men and material at a greater rate than Australia. It is mainly down to how well trained they are as well as how professional chain of command, Our Special Forces (SAS) are one of the best in the world. This American on line stated that Aussie soldiers were weak and hid behind the US and ran away when in contact with the enemy, that's why they had low casualty rates, I say that's bull ****, Australians fought as hard as anyone else in any war, An old South African man told me the British would've won a war over talking, but the Australian and New Zealand Soldiers were the most professional he saw in the war. Don't forget Australians trained Americans in WW1 and are the best jungle fighters in the world. Another reason for low casualties as said by a Chocko in Kokoda WW2 was, "We couldn't stay around and fight the Japanese as much as they would've liked as there was nothing behind us due to AIF overseas (Fighting for England who shat on us) so we played hit and run Guerrilla tactics". Modern days everyone says Australia hides behind America and in some ways we do, but only due to our size. Australia is important to America and England as well (Like Woomera and new weapon technology). At least John Howard is gone he was the biggest US **** kisser I've ever seen. Rudd gets on well with Obama and at least he only thinks of Australia's best interests. I'm proud of Australian Military history and all the brave soldiers who fought and died for their country aren't cowards. Cheers John
