My husband is taking thyronorm 100 mcg tablet for thyroid problem and now his diastolic bp is 103.?

My husband is taking thyronorm 100 mcg tablet for thyroid problem and now his diastolic bp is 103.is it due to this thyoid or need to take medication for his bp is 138/103
