Should I buy a new computer or a new guitar?

I'm a guitarist. And my advise is simple: If you're absolutely sure. Absolute sure, then by the guitar. For that money, you can get a good brand and be happy as a pig in sh*t. But if you're not sure, then don't do it. It would be a shame to purchase the instrument and let it collect dust. And you have a computer, right. What I don't like about upgrading to a better computer is that the better and more expensive the model, the more things you ultimately have to purchase, because it can accomodate the extra gadgets. I've got a 5 year old home computer and that's that. I also have a 1937 Martin and an 1957 Gibson. And that's really, really that.
