Is it possible for amniocentesis results to be available in one day?

Single-gene variations can be yzed in a short time. A full-chromosome ysis takes a week or two because the cells have to be grown in culture and prepped. I was tested for Tay-Sachs and had the results (as I remember) within two days, and that was about 35 years ago.
